St Ann Hotel, Gloucester Quays

After many stages of negotiation and design development, we have been awarded the subcontract by Byrne Bros to supply the complete post tensioning package to 4 floors of this prestigious new hotel development. This includes the 1st floor which has beams containing MK4 Multistrand tendons type 12/15. These beams take the loads back to the few columns from ground to 1st floor thereby giving a more open floor area at ground level as required by the client.

The floor plate at 1st floor is very complex having an irregular perimeter, incorporating a link slab to the adjacent car park and being on a gradual curve as well as dealing with loadings being transferred from the upper floors.
