This project is a mixed use development comprising of a casino and commercial areas on a total of 5 floors. The 1st, mezzanine, 2nd and 3rd are post tensioned slabs with the post tensioning system designed supplied and installed by ConForce.

The floors are mostly flat slabs except on the 2nd floor where long spans giving clear areas in the casino are achieved by post tensioned beams. These are stressed using 12/15 Multistrand tendons providing a force per tendon of some 268 tons. The beams span 14m and carry high transfer loads from the floor above back to the main column grid. At 950mm overall depth this provides a lean and efficient design for the long span beams. With curved slab edges, lack of repetition from floor to floor and bespoke loading requirements this is a complex project at both the design and construction stages. The total floor area to be post tensioned is 7000m². ConForce started on site in June 2008 with a programmed completion at the end of October 2008.
