The project was designed to have post tensioning in all the suspended slabs ( 5 on Building A and 4 on Building B) with a total floor area of 3000m². The slabs are all post tensioned flat slabs 275mm deep with 2 drop beams on level 1 to transfer local point loads back to columns. Design calculations and drawings were completed by ConForce showing all necessary tendon and rebar layouts for the various slabs. Grouting of tendons is carried out to the latest technical and QA requirements including the use of prebagged Cable Grout by TECROC; a specially designed grout to meet the various grout properties required for post tensioned tendons.

ConForce operate a Quality System for post tensioning installations to BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 accredited and regularly audited by CARES in accordance with their Quality and Operations Assessment Schedules. This extends to the use of products meeting similar Quality standards. ConForce started on site in July 2008 with completion programmed for November 2008.
